no pix today

    for those waiting for pix of rasps, finishes or anything else, today has been cancelled by and for me, it is -8 degrees f here around 22 celcius for those who care........... see you when it warms up..... but no flies or skitters!

    What sort of excuse is that Ray
    one blooming pic of a finished foot
    and you cant come up with it:(

    Is ther anybody that uses these rasps able to provide a pic
    of the finished job it does in the near future or is everybody
    staying at home aswell

    Your the one who wants the picture of that hoof, I don t need it...take it yourself or learn to have some patience and to wait a bit,

    I think i d rather deal with the flies and skeeters!

    guess i ll only talk about the weather in meteorological terms in the future,

    It was -16 F when I left home this AM. It never got above 0 F all day. Basically, it really sucked and I'm still cold. I'm going to bottle some of it up and post it to cool things off on here.

    Bottle up that cold and keep it for summer..................don t bring it here....please?

    it s getting to be a balmy 12 F. here in downtown Gill, according to the puter weather ...but i think it s frozen.

    Bill I remember shoeing in a place called Howth one day in a field
    8 sets to go on and 8" of snow under my feet
    it was different but I got it done

    Yep. Cold and snow kinda makes you change the way you have to do things. Acrylics and pours are out, you can't lay your tools down, have to wear gloves, and enough clothes that it makes it harder to move. Gotta pick out the foot every time you pick it up so you try to avoid putting it down as much as possible. Your rasp stops working. Lots of other little things. Everything just takes longer. Bloomer might be onto something.

    No Tom the field was level enough
    they where all shod cold with a stall jack
    dident have to get out from under the horse
    to alter.
    its called shoeing for a living
