Is there a resource available for repainting a Forgemaster? My forge has lots of paint burnt off and I'd like to redo when I replace the desperately overdue liner.

I'm don't know if its even paint or some sort of powder coat, but I'd like it to look a little better. Worst case scenario I suppose I could just use Automotive paint for exhaust parts, but I like the dimple finish.

    Joey,
I'm pretty sure they are powder coated. If your near a city, I'd bet you could find a place that does powder coat but you would have to have it tore down and ready for them. You may be w/o it for a while.

I've had good results w/ the hi temp paint, nice thing is you won't use a whole can on the forge so you'll have some to touch up with.

Might look at some stove paint. It is a high temp solution.

There are a few power coating shops around, but I'd like a factory style finish on it. If not I'm gonna paint it orange or something. LOL

I think fire engine red would be cool. Or maybe camo.

I'm seriously thinking of painting everything orange or yellow. My anvil, stand, vise, and forge. My vise needs to be cut down about 6" first though.

Yes, blower works very well. Sadly I haven't used it. Just to easy to fire up the gas. Someday though. 003.JPG
