I got an email that Anvil brand shoe company was going to have a clinic. It's only about a 2 hour drive for me so I'm thinking il go. My question is, are these clinics good learning opportunities? Also, I know this is a long shot, but is anyone else from the forum going to attend? Thanks!
Clinics are GREAT learning opportunities. Gives you a chance to watch some good farriers in action and ask questions. Also gives you the opportunity to network with other farriers.
Thanks guys. It's in illinois at the Anvil Brand headquarters. The clinician is a reining horse farrier from Texas. Also everyone in attendance will get to work with and apply some glue on shoes. Sounds interesting to me so I'm probably going to go.
I would go as far to say theres no bad learning experience. .any chance to learn is a good thing..anytime you can see how others do things its good..
