I wonder about some of the work out there is considered good work. And am amazed at how people eat it up. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
Not really sure, but the owner says it was unshod when they viewed the horse four or five weeks ago so not more than that.
Is it me or does the foot get smaller at the ground surface? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using Tapatalk 2
"Trim to the widest part of the frog"? If you look at the last two pictures, from the ground surface the heels of the shoe are at approximately the widest part of the frog, but in the last picture you can see that the heels of the hoof fall way short of the heels of the shoe making the foot, as you say, smaller at the ground surface. A case of 'short trimming' rather than 'long shoeing'.
