40 year veteran farrier (my uncle), recently had his truck and the great majority of his tools stolen. He's been doing what he can with what he has and what he's banged together from mystery steel. From a small rural town, took the better part of 25years to accumulate his tools of the trade, he's reached out to me for assistance, but as an amateur blacksmith, my knowledge and skills are not up for forging replacements of any kind of quality (I dabble in mild steel, wouldn't know what to do with actual tool steel) Please feel free to contact me if you have any old but serviceable spare tools, like nippers, cutters, pulloffs hoof knives, or anything of the sort.
