Mrs. Steele pointed out an article in the local newspaper to me ,written by a rn who visits folks in their homes.

It involved using Listerene mouthwash to combat toe nail fungus. Basically the Listerene is applied 2x per day with the effect of disrupting the fungus normal environment via the 26% alcohol, wintergreen oil, and other ingredients. She states that she has seen improvement for folk who are consistent in use.

I m bringing this forward as information, not as a cure, for possible use in our treatment of white line and fungus related issues.

If folk are interested i ll try to get permission to post the article here or one could go to the Greenfield Recorder ,todays edition to read it your self.

    Regards

thought i d report back on the Listerene experiment. it has been a little over a year.

i would say that it did not affect the white line/fungus on my toe nails. it has kept down the foot odors.

in discussion with my MD. he informed me that Emu oil might be a good carrier of anti fungals since it has a # of characteristics of dmso.

    next experiment..........................
