I don't want to lose all my online friends and this could close at any minute. I figure if ray closes the forum we can all meet at my new forum that I will put up. Problem is I don't know what to call it. It will be mostly for crash and burn threads. This place has strong potential to grow and that means many more farriers will be available to Ray. That means Ray has a strong customer base and a place where he can advertise for free. 'That is good for Rays business and good for those who buy from him. I don't think this site will close down. It was a good business move for Ray ...
UFFC that'd be kinda cool. I belong to the UFFC........ Huh, you mean UFC. No man the UFFC more risk involved. You have to have ultimate reading comprehension skills and be able to take verbal punches without a single tear.
Bruce, I would suggest to George that he start his forum as a "lonely hearts" farriers site, then he could ban anyone that spoke about horseshoeing, and it would be an excellent business move, jpt and a few others seem to be waiting for him to get started, but I'd suggest he hurry! Bruce ,the knife can cut both ways, while the advertising is free cash wise, folks need to be there to read it, and since I deal in farrier merchandise and I shoe a few, if farriers don't visit because no one is talking horseshoeing the advertising isn't helpful, it may even be bad advertising. The other side of it is time, and as I said at the outset ,I don't have it to give to this, that is babysitting a website that I hoped would fill a void and from which I could learn. The other side of it is I don't want to babysit a website, lucky for me I've got grandkids to babysit and visit with. I guess I foolishly thought folks would talk farriery. I'll talk it over with my brother in law and listen to your suggestions plus keep folks posted. Regards Ray
I have a great idea, George! Call it farriersforum.com. It could be a place where Farriers log on and converse without those not in the trade joining the conversation. Kinda like a Nurses Forum, you know, for Nurses only. There could be a section below the Farrier's section where horse owners can ask questions about hoof care and have discustipons among them selves and Farriers who wish to join or give advice. Just a thought.

Really??? Do you people go back and read what y'all all post??? This can work but really keep the coffee shop talk at the coffee shop and let go of the Bull Manure!!! If this site fails I doubt anyone will ever be able to establish a site that works for us all...Put your EGOs in your back pocket and lets LEARN from each other? I have and still do shovel shyt everyday and shoe also so I put up with enought CRAP as it is!! Even tho I like the PopcornHoofForum.com idea!!!!)) I do learn from each and every one of you, but lets clean this up before we lose it?
