I received a message from Mr Patrick Reilly today on my way home from deer/dove lease..asked me some questions and I hope to hear more from him about the problem..I wish he was comfortable here to post some info on it?
I have soaked a many elephants feet...they stand so much better than a horse except they want to drink anything you soak them in..spend more time telling them No.. when it comes to soaking..
I've been thinking about this thread Gary, and how cool it would be to work on an animal like that. With your experience you would be much less in awe than I would, but think of a guy who works as a logger in India or Thailand. I would drive way out of my way to soak an elephant's foot, but the guy in India probably sees it as a chore. I did know a guy who worked for a vet, helping him circumcise elephants. He said it didn't pay much, but he got big tips.
