What's the general thought on under run heels? Anyway to fix or help them?
    What's worked for you?

I usually try to trim the heels back to the widest point of the frog. If the horse is barefoot, I'll trim him again every 4 weeks. If he is shod then every 5-6 weeks. What caused the under run heels to start with? Was it poor shoeing or is it just this horses conformation?

What Draftshoer said and don't let the front of the foot get out of control.
