I have a new plastic that I m using in gray colored wedged pads for he gaited horse packages. this material has not cracked or breaken this past winter at temps. as low as minus 25 degrees , it finishes well and does not clog belts etc. ,like some products, often he urethanes. this material is approx 22% heavier than PE, translation, a #3 wedge will weigh 22% more than a comparable PE #3 wedge, this material seems to have the wear ability and strength of a urethane pad. right now they are available in sizes, 2.5, 3, 3x, 3xl, 4xl, other sizes will be available in the near future. they will trade at the same or slightly higher than the comparable PE pads. and more x heavy leather bends has arrived ray 413 863 2443
