It appears that this foot was not weight bearing when it was radiographed. Therefore, bone alignment is not something I would evaluate from these...
Did you bump anything into the toe?
I would never dream of buying shoes I couldn't make better.
I wouldn't round up flat section when half round is easy to get locally. OTOH, over here concave is about as common as hen's teeth and more costly...
Ever wonder if the crease in the toe makes a difference? 'nuther words why not a half round/oval section with no crease?

My theory is that the distance around the half-perimeter of the foot from heel to centerline at the toe is the same on the medial side as it is on...
You may find that sometimes the test itself requires wrong answers.
