For that size of foot you need your clip approx 2 1/4" from the centre mark this will let you fit your toe nicely under smaller size feet can be...
Justin i think when making shoes if you get your toe formed well and your dialed into the feet your dealing with i find everything should become...
i would go along with toe clipping but i was trying to get it accross that Josh was making life hard for himself having the clips to close
