Sweeping up

    If I'm doing a few, I sweep up between each horse. I hate working on top of hoof filings, manure and bits of debris. Seems a logical continuation to sweep up after the last one. I just sweep into a pile, depends on the owner whether I pick it up.

    I carry broom and shovel in the van.

    That's how I was brought up . When I borrowed a trailer for example, you always bring it back cleaner than you got it. I know I'm not borrowing someone's barn. The 5 minutes it takes to sweep up while the check is being wrote out goes a long way . I've been told that I do a great job , and he's clean.

    I don't sweep up....... I do take a magnet and attempt to gather all the nail pieces.

    Hard to sweep grass. lol
